Aug. 15, 2007 Who could surprise? Tournament Coverage Play TOUR Fantasy Games
Which player could win at this weekend's Wyndham Championship? Our experts weigh in:

Pick: Lucas Glover
In is last six starts, Glover has four top-12 finishes. Sunday might have seemed like a monumental disappointment for the former Clemson star. With Woody Austin's second place finish in the PGA Championship, Glover -- who finished in a tie for 50th -- was knocked out of the top 10 in the U.S. standings for a spot on the Presidents Cup team. However, his recent solid play didn't go unnoticed by U.S. Captain Jack Nicklaus, who picked Glover and Hunter Mahan to round out his team. That good news along with his stellar play of late makes Glover a force this week.

Pick: John Senden
TFI's been waiting for several months for the kind of performance Senden stitched together last week in the PGA Championship, a tie for fourth in which he never shot lower than 69 nor higher than 71. He hasn't displayed that type of consistency enough this season but ranking third in greens in regulation (69.63 percent) will serve him well at Forest Oaks Country Club, where accuracy is paramount.

Pick: Brandt Snedeker
Coming off a tie for 18th at the PGA Championship and three top-10s in his past five starts, Brandt Snedeker is one of the hottest guys in the field at the Wyndham Championship. He sits at No. 26 in the FedExCup rankings, which isn't too shabby for a PGA TOUR rookie. The Tennessean has done everything but win this season so it's about time for the two-time Nationwide Tour winner to earn his first title on the PGA TOUR.

Pick: Brandt Snedeker
Oh, it was so close. He's never played here -- heck, he hasn't played an awful lot of places -- but the proof is in the results. He's finished in the top-10 in four of his last seven tournaments and played well at THE PLAYERS, the U.S. Open and Southern Hills. That's strong. Only an opening 74 last week kept him out of top 10.

Pick: Steve Flesch
Has the winner of the Reno-Tahoe Open located his game after a long dry spell? The possibility exists. Flesch won and followed it with a respectable showing at the PGA Championship where he finished tied for 23rd. He was done in by a pedestrian final round. He tied for third here last year so he only needs to improve two places.

Pick: Rich Beem
He has been playing well lately at times. He has struggled putting it together for four days but he has posted a lot of good numbers. I like Rich to play four good rounds this week. He is focused and ready. Beemer needs a good week to make a run at the playoffs.

Pick: Lucas Glover
Now that he's been picked to play on the U.S. Presidents Cup team, Glover can relax a little bit. He was sixth in Greensboro last year, and he's been playing extremely well of late with four finishes among the top-12 and a tie for 27th before heading into the PGA Championship. The tie for 50th at Southern Hills was an anomaly. Look for this to be the week that Glover puts four rounds together and has a chance to win his second TOUR title.

Pick: Carl Pettersson
This tournament is full of guys who look like sleepers and sleepers who look like favorites. It might be the season's most competitively equal field across the board. Given that, we're going with the local boy who might be a tad fresher than has peers: Carl Pettersson. The Swede from North Carolina took last week's PGA Championship off after his second child was born. So that might help him this week. He hasn't missed a cut since March with two top-10s.

The Champions Tour is back in action at the JELD-WEN Tradition this week. PGATOUR.com Champions Tour expert Lauren Deason gives us her pick:
Eduardo Romero -- It's been quite a golf year for Argentina with Angel Cabrera winning the U.S. Open on the PGA TOUR and Andres Romero holding the lead on Sunday at the British Open before falling to third. And there's no one hotter in major championships on the Champions Tour than Eduardo Romero -- he finished second in the Senior PGA Championship and tied for fourth at the Senior British Open. Romero defends his title this week at the JELD-WEN Tradition -- albeit on a different venue from where he earned his first major win last year -- but he will likely still top the field in Sunriver, Ore.
The Nationwide Tour heads to Rochester, N.Y., this week for the Xerox Classic. PGATOUR.com Nationwide Tour expert Dave Lagarde gives us his pick:
Jason Day -- The Nationwide Tour's player of the month in July is back after a week off. He has been scorching in his run up the money ladder to second -- $93,865 behind leader Roland Thatcher. A win here just keeps his dash to the top going and there is an outside chance he could overhaul Thatcher to become the eighth player to lead the money list in 2007. Considering his recent form -- T9, T15, win, T5, 2, T13 in his last six starts -- it's hard to pick against the 19-year-old Aussie wunderkind.
