PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL --The PGA TOUR announced Wednesday that for the first time in its history, an official PLAYERS Championship film will be made available following this year's event. The film will allow fans to relive the intensity, passion and excitement of the 2007 PLAYERS through behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews, all recorded in high definition.

This week marks an exciting new era for THE PLAYERS. Played in May for the first time, many additional changes and upgrades will greet fans as they arrive at TPC Sawgrass. From the new fan entry way featuring THE PLAYERS History Pavilion, to the debut of state-of-the-art Mitsubishi Electric LED scoreboards, to improved spectator mounding areas throughout the golf course, interactive exhibits provided by THE PLAYERS' Proud Partners -- UBS, PricewaterhouseCoopers and JELD-WEN -- and a new clubhouse that pays tribute to the history and traditions of THE PLAYERS and the PGA TOUR, the entire fan experience will be documented by PGA TOUR Productions for THE PLAYERS DVD.

The official film will showcase the high-level competition that has come to define THE PLAYERS. Once again, the world's best golfers have assembled in Ponte Vedra Beach, and PGA TOUR Productions will tell their stories -- through highlights and interviews -- as they vie for one of the most coveted titles in the game.
