Singh, who held the lead through the first three events of the year, is one of three players to have held the lead in 2007 (Charles Howell III, John Rollins). Singh currently leads John Rollins (5,872) by just 216 points. Charles Howell III is third with 5,152, Aaron Baddeley is fourth with 4,985 points and Paul Goydos is fifth with 4,715.

• Three players finished inside the top 10 this week to guarantee their entry into the field at next week's Nissan Open -- John Mallinger (3rd), Matt Kuchar (T6) and Ryan Armour (T9). It represented the first top-10 finish of Mallinger (8th career start) and Armour's (4th career start) career.

• Phil Mickelson earned 4,500 FedExCup points for the victory, which gives him a total of 4,637 points after the first six events of the year. Mickelson - who moves from No. 122 to No. 7 on the list - and Kevin Sutherland (10th) were the only players who jumped into the top 10 this week.

• The four past champions of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am who made the cut fared well this week. Phil Mickelson (1998, 2005, 2007) won, while Davis Love III (2001, 2003) finished T4. Vijay Singh (2004) finished T11, and Tom Watson (1977, 1978) finished T19.

• Champions Tour member Tom Watson finished the week T19, his first top-25 finish on the PGA TOUR since a T18 at the 2003 British Open. Watson has now posted 20 top-25 finishes at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

• One more on Watson: By making the cut this week, he extended his streak of making at least one cut every year since he turned professional in 1971 (36 seasons). He also made the cut in his only TOUR appearance as an amateur at the 1968 Western Open (T51).

• The top three all-time leading money winners at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am finished inside the top 15 this week. Phil Mickelson (1st) leads the group with $3,069,620, followed by Davis Love III (T4) with $2,323,836 and Vijay Singh (T11) with $2,259,415.

• Matt Kuchar shared honors with Ryan Moore and Phil Mickelson for the round of the day with a 6-under 66. A member of the Nationwide Tour graduating class of 2006, Kuchar's T6 finish is his best outing since a T5 at the 2002 FedEx St. Jude Classic. His last top-10 finish was a T10 at the 2005 MCI Heritage.

• Ryan Moore (66) posted the best nine-hole score of the week on Sunday with a 7-under 29 on the front nine at Pebble Beach. It was just one shy of the tournament-record 28s set by Brent Schwarzrock in 2002, and Davis Love III and Spike McRoy in 2001.

• In the 22 stroke-play events in which Phil Mickelson has held or shared the 54-hole lead, he has carried that lead on to victory 16 times (72.7 percent). Three of those leads have been recorded at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (2001, 2005, 2007), with victories coming his last two tries.

• The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am becomes the fourth TOUR event of Mickelson's career that he has won three or more times. The list includes the BellSouth Classic (2000, 2005-06), Buick Invitational (1993, 2000-01), Chrysler Classic of Tucson (1991, 1995-96) and the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (1998, 2005, 2007). The win places him in select company here, joining Mark O'Meara (5), Jack Nicklaus (3) and Johnny Miller (3) as the only players with three or more wins.

• Phil Mickelson's win -- the 30th of his career on TOUR -- ties him with Leo Diegel and Vijay Singh for 16th on the all-time list. Ten of his wins (33.33 percent) have come in the state of California.

• Mickelson collected $990,000 for his win, helping him surpass $40 million in career earnings ($40,532,081). He is one of just three players to do so, joining Tiger Woods ($66,648,324) and Vijay Singh ($50,845,086).

• Phil Mickelson's five-stroke win also equaled a tournament record, matching Lloyd Mangrum (1948), Cary Middlecoff (1956), Jack Nicklaus (1967), Fuzzy Zoeller (1986) and Arron Oberholser (2006).

• Current Nationwide Tour member Kyle Thompson -- playing this week on a sponsor's exemption -- made the most of his third career TOUR start with a T25 finish. Thompson's previous starts on TOUR led to missed cuts at the 2003 MCI Heritage and the 2006 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

• With Phil Mickelson's win on Sunday, the hunt for the 200th TOUR victory by a former Nationwide Tour player will have to wait another week. While not winning, Matt Kuchar (T6) did manage to notch the ninth top-10 finish of the season by a member of the 2006 Nationwide Tour graduating class.

Greg Owen has now posted four career top-5 finishes, with two coming at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (3rd in 2005 and T4 this week). He had his career-best effort last year with a runner-up finish at the Bay Hill Invitational.

Corey Pavin (70/T6), who ended the tournament with 38 consecutive bogey-free holes, posted one of four bogey-free rounds on Sunday. The others were recorded by Ted Purdy (67), Ryan Armour (67) and Bo Van Pelt (68). There were a total of 17 such rounds this week.

• Phil Mickelson's victory with amateur partner Harry You in the pro-am portion of the tournament represents the seventh time in tournament history that the professional winner has also won at least a share of the pro-am title. The others were Arron Oberholser (2006), Fuzzy Zoeller (1986), Johnny Miller (1974), Johnny Pott (1968), Art Wall (1959) and Sam Snead (1937).

• Pebble Beach Golf Links, which played to an average of 70.600 during the final round, ended the week yielding a 73.397 average. Spyglass Hill GC played to an average of 72.855 for the week, while Poppy Hills ranked as the easiest at 72.089.

• Preferred lies through the greens was in effect for the fourth straight day at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
