XM Interview: Trevor Immelman
Editor's note: Trevor Immelman has been writing a blog periodically for PGATOUR.com. The South African played his way onto the International Team that will play in The Presidents Cup this week. Immelman took time out before Wednesday's Opening Ceremonies to file another editing.

ILE BIZARD, MONTREAL, Canada -- I had the last two weeks off, so we went up to Georgia to spend some time with my brother and his new little girl. She's only six weeks old, and it was great to finally get to spend some time with them.
We had a very relaxing visit. Then I got back to Orlando and worked on my game to try and get ready for this. I've got a few other tournaments, as well, to finish the season off, so I put a lot of effort into my preparation. Hopefully, tomorrow my game will show how hard I worked.
This is my second Presidents Cup. I know more of the structure of what's going to happen and how things are going to proceed this time around, which has been good. I wasn't guessing as much coming into this week.
I knew about the different obligations we would have and the way things work out. So I would say I'm a little more prepared from that sense. It's always great to be part of the team, though, whether it's your first time or your 10th. There's nothing quite like it. The whole week is always enjoyable. You know, the last time it was cool to go to the White House and meet the President and have dinner there. That really was something special and something that I'll never forget. So, you know, I would say off the golf course, that's what sticks out -- and hopefully we make a few memories this week by playing some good golf.
I'm playing with Rory Sabbatini Thursday in the Foursomes. We have played a lot of golf together. Obviously, we've had some success in the World Cup together with our win in 2003. We know our games real well and we feel comfortable around each other. We are two different personalities, and I think that's why we're good.
He does all the talking and -- and I don't mean that in a bad way. He's very vocal with what he's going to do and how he's going to do it, and, I just kind of slip in behind there and try to play some good golf to complement his. Obviously, he's one of the best players in the world at this point. So hopefully, right now I can get in a nice groove with him and we can start playing some good golf together. My game is coming around right now.
I started to play a lot better the last few months. I started to get some confidence back, too, which is important. I'm looking forward to it and I think we'll be a good team together.
