Delsing, who won the 2001 Ft. Smith Classic and the 2002 Omaha Classic, has spent time on both the Nationwide Tour and PGA TOUR since 1985. He has played in four events on the Nationwide Tour this season and three events on the PGA TOUR. The 46-year-old was a college teammate of Steve Pate, Corey Pavin and Duffy Waldorf and a two-time All-American at UCLA.

"I know what I've got to do -- I've got to get myself as low as I can. There's still so much golf left," Delsing said. "I just want to be the one leading on Sunday."

Starting on the 10th hole, Delsing birdied his first two holes of the day enroute to an opening-nine 32. With two birdies and two bogeys on the first four holes of his back nine, Delsing finished with five pars to hold the second-round lead for the first time since the 2006 Rheem Classic.

Williamson's round started off fairly pedestrian with a 35 going out, but a back nine that included three eagles, two birdies and a bogey for a 29 moved the Purdue graduate into a tie for second at 10-under-par. Williamson is the first player on Tour this year, and the first in tournament history, to record three eagles in a round. Playing in his rookie season on the Nationwide Tour, Williamson has played the last three seasons on the Canadian Tour, where he won three times. His year started well with a T3 at the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship.

"I've never had three eagles in a competitive round," Williamson said. "I'm not sure if I've ever had two."

Anderson credited a new putter in his bag for his solid two-day score after giving his putter to a walking scorer at last week's event. It has been a five-year search for a putter for Anderson after his clubs were stolen in 2001.

"I've tried a ton of putters since then, probably close to 30. They even tried to make one exactly like the one that was taken, but I haven't felt the same since," Anderson said. "Hopefully this new putter will be the one."

NCAA Champion and sponsor's exemption Jamie Lovemark moved to 9-under-par to finish the second round tied for fourth. Playing in his second PGA TOUR sanctioned event as an amateur, the freshman at University of Southern California can qualify for next.

A strong group of golfers joins Lovemark at 9-under-par. Tim O'Neal, Mark Brooks, Chris Anderson, Chris Riley and Richard Johnson also finished two strokes off the lead at Somerby Golf Club about an hour and a half south of Minneapolis. O'Neal finished T3 last year at this event. Brooks is a seven-time winner on the PGA TOUR including the 1996 PGA Championship. Riley, winner of the 2002 Reno-Tahoe Open on the PGA TOUR was a member of the 2004 Ryder Cup team.
