Marc Turnesa leads round two

MIAMI -- Heavy overnight rain that continued off and on throughout the day eventually led to a suspension of play at the Nationwide Tour's Miccosukee Championship -- the final full-field event of the season.

The second round finally got underway at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, but it was short-lived. A dangerous situation eventually led to a final suspension of play at 5:06 p.m. The second round will resume on Saturday, with players back in position at 8:00 a.m., while those players who had regularly-scheduled Friday afternoon tee times will begin their second round at 10:00 a.m.

At the time of the suspension, Marc Turnesa -- who had just made the turn with a 4-under par total on the front nine at the Miccosukee Golf & Country Club -- held the tournament lead at 8-under-par. First-round leader Dustin Bray (through six holes) was one shot back, while Jon Mills (through 10 holes) was three behind.
