Price Cutter Charity Championship announces charity distribution SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The John Q. Hammons Foundation, as a result of the 2007 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr. Pepper, distributed monetary gifts to 42 children's charities in the Ozarks totaling a record cash amount of $650,308.00 during the annual TLC Properties / Coryell Enterprises, Inc. Celebration of Sharing Luncheon Wednesday at Highland Springs Country Club. Since the tournament's inception in 1990, the Foundation has given away $6,375,591.51 to children's charities in the Ozarks. This total represents the largest combined amount that an individual stop on the Nationwide Tour has given in the Tour's 18-year history. The money raised during the tournament will assist thousands of children throughout the Ozarks. It will help a child receive much needed health care services, send a youngster to summer camp, assist medical facilities with expanding their services and equipment. Not only does the tournament introduce thousands of children to a game of golf...it gives a gift of hope that will change their lives. A complete breakdown of the charity gift distributions is listed below.
