
NEW YORK -- The PGA TOUR and Tiffany & Co. have announced that the FedExCup Trophy, the sterling silver and titanium award to be given to the winner of the inaugural PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup, will be displayed in Tiffany & Co. retail locations near the four tournament sites over the course of the four-week Playoff series.

Tiffany & Co., which creates awards for many of the world's greatest sporting events including the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the National Football League, the National Basketball Association Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy and the Major League Baseball World Series Trophy, has also announced that for the first time in its history it will assign one of the company's master engravers to be on-site at East Lake Golf Club on Sunday, Sept. 16 for the final round of The TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola and the crowning of the first FedExCup champion.
Beginning this week, the FedExCup Trophy will be displayed in Tiffany & Co. retail locations including:

After a special in-store event at Tiffany's Atlanta location on Saturday morning, Sept. 15, the trophy will be transported to East Lake Golf Club and prepared for presentation the next day.
On Sunday, Sept. 16, after the final round of The TOUR Championship that concludes the Playoffs, the Tiffany & Co. master engraver will hand-engrave the name of the first-ever FedExCup champion onto the trophy before it is presented by PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem. A perpetual version of the award will also be engraved with the winner's name and all future winners for years to come.
