Editor's Note: Jonathan Byrd won his third PGA TOUR title at the John Deere Classic on Sunday. Here are some of the e-mails PGATOUR.com received congratulating Byrd, who will head to Hawaii for the season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship in 2008.

As a fellow Clemson Tiger ('98) and John Deere construction equipment salesman in the Upstate, congrats! Go Tigers! Jon

Congrats on your victory!! I had a great time playing with you this past week in the Wednesday Pro-Am. Best of luck this week at the British and the remainder of the FedExCup season. Take care. Jim

Congrats Man! I'm an old Woodcreek and Wildewood cart boy and still try to follow you each week you play. Great victory again. Good luck in the Open. Bryan

Dude, you'll be a major winner soon with play like that. Jim

I am glad to see that you got your third career win. I look forward to seeing you compete in the British Open at Carnoustie. I will continue to pray for you and your family, and I hope there are more wins in the near future. I am also looking forward to seeing you at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro in couple weeks. Chad

Just wanted to say congrats on your victory at the John Deere Classic and also how good it is to hear someone give credit where it's due and that's to Jesus Christ. Keep up the good work, and good luck at Carnoustie. Go make us Carolina boys proud. Chase

Congrats! Spring Valley is proud! Randy

As a fan who has walked many rounds with you, I give you a hearty congratulations. My wife said she thought I was giving birth I was so nervous. Great job, Jonathan. Mike

Congrats on the outstanding play for the win. You make all South Carolinians and Tigers proud. Good Luck at Carnoustie! Chip

Congratulations on your victory! It is good to see a man set a good example of behavior in the heat of battle. I enjoy watching golf with my son and daughter, and it is nice to see a good Christian win. Best of luck in the British Open and in the rest of your season and career. You and Zach Johnson are now my family's two favorite golfers. Keep up the good golfing and the great living. Hope to see you in person at the Ryder Cup in Louisville! Stuart

Bryd made birds . . . at the right time! Good solid performance. Congratulations, sir. See you in Great Britain. Bill

Way to go! I knew you had another one in you. Keep up the great job, and have fun at the British. We all are very proud of all your accomplishments on and off the golf course. Brad

Congratulations on winning the JDC. I enjoyed watching your play this weekend, especially Sunday afternoon. I thought your comments regarding the nature of our Lord were superb. I will be praying for you and your opportunities to share the gospel while on TOUR. God bless you and your family. Your fellow sojourner, Wes

Way to go, Jonathan! Clemson fans in Georgia were glued to the TV screen. Great to see you, Lucas (Glover), D.J. (Trahan) and Charles (Warren) playing so well. Good luck in England. Jeff

Congratulations on winning the John Deere Classic! I first saw you at the 2003 U.S. Open with my dad, and I thought you looked cool in your black outfit. I am a sophomore in high school and trying out for the varsity team. I have an autographed ball of yours, and an autographed picture of you in my room along with many other players. It is very cool that everyone responded unlike baseball players or basketball players. I guess golfers are just nicer people. Anyway you are doing amazing, and I hope to see you win another tournament soon! Ryan

I'm the LINKS guy who played with you at the Shell Houston Open Pro-Am in Houston. You signed the magazines for me. Your comments about "giving the glory to God" at the end made all your LINKS brothers proud, and I'm sure God also! You played great and made my day too. Good luck at the British Open! In Him, Jim

I was a volunteer for The International in Colorado. I drove you and your wife a few years ago. You were both very kind, down-to-earth people. It was a nice drive, and I have followed your career since that day. Congratulations on a great tournament. I appreciated your sharing your faith in your interview with Bobby Clampett. Good luck in the future, and I hope you win again. God's blessing to you and your family. Dave

Hey, Jonathan . . . way to go! I'm a huge Clemson fan (and a freshman this fall), so I make sure to follow you, D.J., Lucas, and Charles each week. It was also cool to hear you reference your faith. You've got your priorities in order. You made CU and the State of South Carolina proud today. Congratulations! Good luck at the British. Will

Way to go Jonathan! You make us Tigers proud, and you're such a good role model for my boys. Good luck. Cort

From the Winnsboro, South Carolina, branch of the Jonathan Byrd fan club . . . congratulations! God bless. Cal
