May. 16, 2007 Who could win? Tournament Coverage Play TOUR Fantasy Games
Which player could surprise everyone in this weekend's AT&T Classic? Our experts weigh in:

Pick: Billy Andrade
Andrade has had a rough start to the 2007 season, making four cuts in 10 starts. His best finish was a tie for 14th at the PODS Championship in early March. His luck could turn around this week in Duluth, which is about a par 5 away from where he resides in Atlanta. Andrade has tied for seventh twice in this tournament -- both times when it was played at Atlanta Country Club. His best finish at Sugarloaf was a tie for 13th in 2003.

Pick: Fredrik Jacobson
Glad to see him competing again and quietly creeping back into form in the five weeks since his return from a wrist injury that sidelined him in early September 2006. Although it's early to consider this guaranteed improvement, the vast jump in greens in regulation (138th last year to 25th so far this season) makes every part of the game that much easier. He tied for 15th last year in his Sugarloaf debut and had only two stronger starts so there's promise for a big belated splash.

Pick: Brett Quigley
He's going to get that breakthrough win soon; it's inevitable. Quigley missed the cut at THE PLAYERS Championship last week, but had a tie for 10th at the Wachovia Championship the week before. That top-10 finish came even after a month-long break when he took time to be with his daughter, who was born during the Masters. Quigley missed the cut in 2006 and has never had a strong showing at the AT&T Classic, but maybe this is his year to shine in the Peach State.

Pick: Steve Elkington
A field to choose from, but we're sticking with Steve Elkington. There but for Nos. 17 & 18 last week went a top-10 finish. When he's playing like this, Elk is one of the best ball-strikers in the game. His low-key style syncs with the elegant swing. His decision to play more has his game rounding into form. And if you need one last piece of minutia, he's best mates with the guy who designed the course.

Pick: Chris DiMarco
He is experiencing a perplexing year, but this is the place and the time to make up some ground. He had a solid run in Atlanta from 1999 through 2004 with three top-10s and five top-25s. Plus, he played solidly at THE PLAYERS Championship, finished tied for 12th. So his game is showing some intelligent signs of life.

Pick: Brett Quigley
Brett Quigley hasn't gotten off to the kind of start that he has in recent years. But in many ways this is the best year of his career. He has a month of sleep deprivation and poopy diapers under his belt. He also has the perfect game for the TPC Sugarloaf. Quigs has made the transition into fatherhood, now it is time for him to take his rightful spot among PGA TOUR winners.

Pick: Jonathan Byrd
Jonathan Byrd picked up one of his five top-10s at this tournament last year and he's coming off a tie for sixth at THE PLAYERS Championship. That seems like a pretty potent combination to me. The Clemson grad has been consistent this year, too. He's made the cut in six of the 10 events he's played this year -- never finishing lower than 27th when he's played the weekend.

Pick: Tim Clark
The South African was also the TOUR Insider's sleeper pick two weeks ago at the Wachovia Championship, but had to withdraw with that pesky neck injury. Clark showed some flashes of proficiency last week until a final-round 81, and he's been a good performer in Georgia -- though mostly down the road in Augusta. We'll see if tall pines are to his liking in another area.
