Wilson makes big donation to cancer research in Milwaukee As a child growing up in Wisconsn, basketball was Mark Wilson's first love and the Milwaukee Bucks were his favorite team. And along with cheering on Sidney Moncrief, Bob Lanier and the rest of his favorite players, Wilson remembers his visits to Bucks games for another reason -- the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Fund. Wilson, who won The Honda Classic earlier this spring, is still a big fan of both the Bucks and the MACC Fund. He just confirmed his support by presenting the MACC Fund with a $30,000 check, the largest a professional athlete has ever given the charity. |
