• Frank Lickliter's 72-hole total of 24-under 264 is the second lowest 72-hole total at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament since 1992, when the TOUR began keeping such statistics. Andrew McLardy holds the lowest four-round total when he stood at 27-under 261 in 2000.

• The last time a fourth-round leader/co-leader at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament went on to win was in 2003 when Mathias Gronberg eventually won by a single stroke.

• Since the PGA TOUR began keeping such statistics in 1992, the 72-hole leader/co-leader at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament has never failed to secure his card.

• Frank Lickliter II and Chris Stroud are the only players currently in the top 10 who were full members of the PGA TOUR in 2007.

• Tarheel Tour player Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey, who gained national fame on GOLF CHANNEL's "Big Break" series, shot 71 on Saturday and is tied for fourth going into Sunday's fifth round. Gainey was able to survive a double-bogey on the par-4 11th in which he had to get up-and-down for a six on Saturday.

• The projected 108-hole cutoff number for PGA TOUR cards (based on 72-hole numbers) is 15-under par.

Brett Rumford is one of three players from the Australasian PGA Tour who gained an exemption into the final stage of q-school based on his money-list standing (Rumford, Jarrod Lyle, Wade Ormsby). Through four rounds, Rumford has carded rounds of 66-70-68-65--269 and finds himself in solo third.

• Former Walker Cup star and Coastal Carolina University All-America selection Dustin Johnson finds himself inside the number through 72 holes with rounds of 72-67-67-70--276. A total of three members of the victorious 2007 United States Walker Cup team are in the field this week: Dustin Johnson 72-67-67-70--276 T12; Colt Knost 75-70-72-68--285 T97; Chris Kirk 71-73-70-73--287 T118.

• After the first two rounds this week, the field was split in half based on 36-hole scores. Of the players who began their third rounds in the lower half, Bob May has made the best move with rounds of 69-73-68-67--277 and currently sits tied for 15th. Conversely, the player who began in the upper half and fell the farthest in the last two rounds was 2007 Nationwide Tour player John Kimbell, whose rounds of 70-70-76-75--291 have him tied for 149th with 36 holes left to play.

• The round of the day came from Casey Wittenberg, who eagles Nos. 1 and 2 (his 10th and 11th) en route to a 63 on the Panther Lake course. Wittenberg began the day tied for 124th and finished tied for 38th.

• Through four rounds, three players making their first appearance at the PGA TOUR's Qualifying Tournament finals find themselves in the top 10: Brett Rumford (3), Tommy Gainey (4), and Alejandro Canizares (T10).
