Regional Qualifying Results: Complete Coverage

The final stage of the Champions Tour National Qualifying Tournament begins Tuesday, Nov. 13 at TPC Eagle Trace in Coral Springs, Fla.

The q-school finals will consist of four rounds without a cut. The 72-hole tournament will take place from Tuesday through Friday, Nov. 16 and the top-30 finishers will receive a portion of the $200,000 prize money.

Practice rounds were held on Sunday and Monday as 78 players from across the country flocked to sunny Florida to try their hand at qualifying for the Tour in 2008.

The top 30 players and ties from the Final stage of q-school will gain access to the weekly Event Qualifying competitions that precede all open, full-field events. From those weekly qualifiers up to nine golfers will make it into tournaments in 2008.

Each of the 78 players in Coral Springs this week made it through Regional Qualifying in three sites: Redstone Golf Club in Humble, Texas, Red Hawk Golf Club in Temacula, Calif., and MetroWest Country Club in Orlando, Fla.

Also eligible for the field were the top-10 finishers in the 2007 Senior PGA Professional National Championship, the leading available player (to a floor of fifth position) on the 2007 European Seniors Tour Order of Merit through Oct. 22 and the leading available player (to a floor of fifth position) on the 2007 PGA of Japan Seniors Tour Order of Merit through Oct. 22.
