2. If the PGA TOUR allows music on the first tee what song will be used to introduce you? Scherrer: James Taylor's "Carolina On My Mind." 3. What was your most embarrassing moment on a golf course? Scherrer: On the ninth hole at the Masters, when I hit my wife with my second shot. 4. Who would you most like to hit balls next to next year, and why? Scherrer: Dean Wilson. When your putt rolls in to win your second PGA TOUR title (Scherrer won the Kemper Insurance Open in 2000), will you go with the Tiger fist pump, the Mickelson mini-vertical jump or something a little crazier? You've been granted a 60-minute sit-down with any figure in the world of golf, living or dead. What's your first question and to whom would you address it? Scherrer: Rich Pierson, PGA TOUR rules official. I would ask him to teach me all of the rules of golf. 9. What is your wildest golf dream? Scherrer: People constantly talking during my swing. 10. What is the most valuable lesson about your profession you learned on the Nationwide Tour? Scherrer: The 'best' golf isn't always played on the PGA TOUR. |
