Oct. 22, 2007

Only two events remain in the Nationwide Tour schedule for 2007, which means there are only two chances left for those outside "THE 25" to play their way in.

This week's Miccosukee Championship in Miami is the final full-field Nationwide Tour event of 2007. The following charts the progress of those players who are vying for one of 25 coveted PGA TOUR cards for 2008 that will be awarded Sunday Nov. 4 at the conclusion of the Nationwide Tour Championship at Barona Creek near San Diego, Calif.

For the third week in a row, South African Brenden Pappas occupies the 25th and final spot. Sunday's Chattanooga Classic presented by Black Creek winner Ron Whittaker, whose uncle is Lanny Wadkins, moved from 27th to 11th. Runner-up David McKenzie of Australia also played his way into "THE 25," improving 19 spots to 24th. Falling out were a pair of 2007 winners, Tom Scherrer and Argentina's Miguel Carballo. They are now 26th and 27th, respectively.
