Three Team Nationwide members get hot in the PGA heat Despite the stifling heat that gripped the Tulsa area last week, a trio of Team Nationwide members enjoyed their time at sweltering Southern Hills. Not surprisingly, the three who excelled at the PGA Championship are the same three who have thrived more than any other Team Nationwide members all year on the PGA TOUR. ![]() Boo Weekley rocked the PGA Championship with his 65 on Saturday. Ken Duke and Brandt Snedeker also struggled in their first trips around Southern Hills, Duke carding a 73 and Snedeker at 74, but both also finished strong, and they tied for 18th place at 4-over 284. Duke's first-round 73 included a pair of potentially crippling double bogeys, but he bounced back with rounds of 71, 69 and 71. Snedeker's first round included a double and five bogeys, but he rebounded with scores of 71, 69 and 70. Weekley picked up 743 FedExCup points and $170,333, while Duke and Snedeker each earned 359 FedExCup points and $81,600. With only one more week to go before the FedExCup Playoffs begin, Weekly is in 16th place, while Snedeker is up to 26th and Duke is solidly in 34th place. His success at the PGA Championship also pushed Weekley over the $2 million mark in earnings for 2007, with $2,196,592, putting him 16th on the money list. Snedeker has climbed to 26th on the cash chart with $1,861,810 in season earnings, while Duke is up to 34th on the money list with $1,557,833 in winnings this year. |
