Nobody knows the PGA TOUR pros better than their wives. PGATOUR.COM has asked several TOUR wives to provide 18 things we should know about their husbands. This installment was written by Mandy Snedeker, wife of FedExCup reigning champion Brandt Snedeker.

HOW WE MET: Brandt and I met at Vanderbilt University -- my roommate was on the women's golf team and he was on the men's golf team and they both were communications majors so he would come over to study at our apartment.
We went on our first date in December of 2001 and have been together ever since. I knew absolutely nothing about golf when we first met and Brandt would tell me he wanted to be a professional golfer and I had no idea what that even meant. We got married in 2008 and had our first child, Lily, in 2011 and our second child, Austin, in 2012.
I was with Brandt when he won his first college tournament, his first amateur tournament, his first Nationwide Tour (now Web.com Tour) tournament and his first PGA TOUR tournament. I remember him playing in the U.S. Amateur Publinx and him telling me that if he won this tournament he would get to play in the Masters, which was a childhood dream of his. He went on to win and got to play at Augusta in 2004 as an amateur.
As I was laying on the couch eight months pregnant with our second child, I remembered that conversation as he went on to win the FedExCup and got teary-eyed thinking about it. I am so proud of him for what he has accomplished and love that we have gone through these highs and lows of this crazy sport called golf together. I look forward to the day when our 2-year-old and 10-month old will understand what their daddy has done and can feel the same sense of pride that I do.
18 Things about Snedeker He worked at his parents pawn shop growing up so he knows a ton about jewelry. One of my favorite gifts he ever gave me is the heart-shaped diamond necklace -- it's a diamond that he picked out from the pawn shop when he was young for the girl he would marry one day. He is a huge sports fan - especially Vanderbilt Athletics and the Tennessee Titans. He has lived in a five-mile radius his entire life. He grew up in a house that was right by where he went to grade school, high school and college and we still live in that same area with our two children. He likes to fish and hunt almost (okay, maybe more) than he likes to play golf. He wants to live on a farm one day. He loves being out in the middle of nowhere. He does all of the ironing in the house -- thank goodness because I am absolutely awful at it! He loves dogs, and if we didn't travel so much we would probably have a few of them. He can't stand the noise of a fork or spoon scraping a plate, bowl or someone's teeth. It drives him crazy! He hates dancing. He loves to grill or use the smoker. He loves fast food, which is totally great because I am no health nut either! He loves everything about the South -- SEC football, tailgates, country music, fried food, etc., etc. He is a true Southern gentleman. He opened the car door for me on our first date :) He loves good red wine. He is a great golfer, but an even better father. He lights up when he sees his children and they have completely helped his outlook on golf and life. He loves the History Channel and Discovery Channel Brandt has a heart of gold. He is one of the most pure, genuine people I have ever met. He loves giving and would much rather buy a gift for someone else than for himself. There is nothing fake about him. He always carries a one dollar bill in his wallet for good luck.
